we found an osaki nana. i am feeling knid of happy now. haha. at least the 2 main characters are here. BUT, we still need:
TAKUMI
REN
NOBU
YASU

i just realised that they are all guys o.O but girls can always go as guys. like me. o.o

yup, and those who still want to go as osaki nana, you are still WELCOMED :D cos there can be 2 nana, like nana1, and nana2.

shin's costume(orb plus rocking horse shoes)

Shin's Orb

it's coming into place, i guess. made the orb, just needs the colour plus shine plus jewels/gems on

this was the first part, before i did paper mache on it...

just after paper mache, it was super wet... wait for like 1 plus day for it to dry

currently, this is what it looks like. needs paint. but i don't really have the time to paint it properly, so putting it there like this first.

Rocking Horse shoes

after searching for like half a day, i finally found my rocking horse shoes. its still not here yet, though. need to wait until, say after september, if it's fast, or latest before november.

for people who really want to buy rocking horse shoes, and who can't buy them online(say, you don't have a credit card), you can find rocking horses at:

1. The Cathay, BLACK ALICE

it's a lolita shop, kind of frilly, but it sells rocking horses in 3 colours(white, red, black). it's the kind that nana wears, like with laces. biggest size is 38, but you can try emailing the manager(tim) if you want bigger size(the shop assistant will be glad to give you a business card). it sells for $119. brand is lolita(it think). solid, rather good quality. i would have bought it if i could fit the shoes.

2. Far East Plaza, HARU GOTH

lolita shop also. but more of gothic lolita. only see a black nana rocking horse there, but i don't know, there might be more colours. biggest size is 42. :D people with big feet like me should try haru if you want to find a rocking horse that will fit. brand:haru. the sole is abit not so solid? i am also not very sure, cos i sort of have to rush home then, so just bought the shoes first. price: $88

3. Far East Plaza, BLOOD ROMANCE

guess what, it's a lolita shop. lol. sells several types of rocking horses. have boots(one white kind, the other pink. think the pink have some satin-ish like fat lace) also have shin's type of rocking horse(it's male version i guess), but in white. brand: montreal. the shoe feels sort of sticky, maybe the pvc is not that good? biggest size:23.5cm(don't know what size that is, but my feet can't go in). price: $169(for the shin one)

so in the end i bought the nana's rocking horse shoes from haru. this means i need to wear black socks inside, and make this flap with er, flaps? that is found on shin's shoes. (just under the shoe laces, the black rectangle...

yup. hope what i wrote about rocking horse shoes helped. cos i was like trying very hard to find them before that.

Yeah, to clear some doubts or questions from people interested in joining...
We are going to take part in the cosplay EOY 08, which around mid-december, (we are still checking) We are going to cosplay the manga Nana and some of the characters we are STIll looking for is:
1.Nana Osaki
2.Ren Honjo
3.Nobu
4.Takumi
